About

Our History

The Association of Faith Churches and Ministers (AFCM) was founded in 1978 by Jim and Kathleen Kaseman. Its purpose is to promote fellowship among ministers to share their experience, strength, and knowledge around the Word of God. Striving for unity and edification of the brethren with God’s Word as the foundation of our relationships, we envisioned that more could be accomplished for the kingdom of God when we came together under the banner of AFCM.

AFCM provides the following levels of credentials for ministers: license and ordination For churches in the US whose pastors are registrants of AFCM, the following programs are available: affiliation for churches that need their tax exempt status and association for churches that already have their tax exempt status.

Over the years, AFCM has developed into a world-wide movement of churches, pastors, traveling ministers, and missionaries dedicated to bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations in the power of the Holy Spirit.

From the United States to the far reaches of the world, AFCM and its registrants have made an impact through preaching the gospel in communist countries; translating, printing, and distributing millions of books; mobilizing the church for short-term missions; establishing hundreds of video Bible schools; planting churches and providing training for leaders; organizing youth camps and youth outreaches; and responding with humanitarian aid to those in need.

Serving local pastors, ministers, and missionaries all over the world, AFCM is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations.”
