How To Get Credentials

Thank you for your request for information regarding AFCM.

If you wish to apply for Provisional Licensing, Ministerial Licensing, Ordination or Affiliate Only status through AFCM Canada, please download both the Application form and two (2) Recommendation forms (to be given to a) your Pastor and b) a personal reference that have known you for at least five (5) years), include your dues payable to AFCM Canada, and mail to the address listed below:

When your application is received, you will be contacted for a personal interview by one of our Regional Directors. Once approved for credentials, you are automatically a registrant.

AFCM Canada also offers AFFILIATE ONLY status to those who currently hold credentials with another organization, but wish to be associated with AFCM. If you are applying for this type of registration, a copy of your current credentials must accompany your application form.

A completed application, AFCM dues, and two recommendation forms must be returned to either this office or the Regional Director for your province before we can begin to process your application. ONE of the Recommendation Forms MUST be given to your PASTOR. If you are already a Senior Pastor, you may have one of your Pastoral peers in good standing provide this reference for you.

Registration with AFCM Canada must be renewed annually to remain in good standing with your credentials. Renewal applications and fees are due December 31 each year. All renewals received after December 31 will be charged an additional $25.00 late fee. Renewal applications will NOT be received AFTER January 31st. If not renewed by that date, you must reapply for registration unless an exception has been granted by your Regional Director or by the AFCM Canada Governing Authority.

Registration Fees are as follows:

• Affiliate Only Status: $75.00
• Provisional or Ministerial Licensing or Ordination: $100.00

An application fee of $25.00 is required to process your application. THIS FEE IS NONREFUNDABLE. When an applicant is declined approval on his/her application OR withdraws his/her application for any reason before processing is completed, this fee will NOT be returned to the applicant.
