Proverbs 29:18 (AMP) tells us that without redemptive revelation, the people perish.

After Adam committed high treason, God announced that He would send His Son, the Second Adam, to take man’s place (Genesis 3:15).  What God was doing was cutting covenant with His Son.  It was a covenant that could not be broken – an everlasting covenant.

Everything God promised Abraham – that he would be a great nation, a blessing to nations, and that he would inherit the land in Israel – was all promised to His Son, Jesus.
